Obituary of Una Thompson

Passed away peacefully after her battle with Alzheimers. Formerly of Gravenhurst, Toronto and Pointe Claire, Una was born in Scotland. She was a proud mother of Douglas Small, Elaine Small, Fiona Martin (nee Small) and Gillian O’Connor (nee Small). Grandmother to Harley, Jasmine, Jesse, Dylan, Christopher and Danielle, and the best mother-in-law to Verna Prendergast, Jonathon O’Connor and John Martin. Una enjoyed Scottish Country Dancing, Country Music and LIFE in general. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Kingscourt Free Methodist Church, 257 Kingscourt Ave, Kingston, ON, on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00pm. Parking in the rear off Hillcrest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of KFL&A. Thank you to the staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre who helped Mom through her struggles with Alzheimers.
