Obituary of Kayda Violet Slack

Peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, 28 February 2016 in her 75th year, Kayda loving mother of Lance (Patricia) and Leslie (John) passed away. Dear grandmother of Sebastian, Elora and Sarah. Dear sister of Lesha and Sylvia and predeceased by brothers Roy and Arthur and sister Jean. Also missed by her nephews and nieces and extended family. Before retiring, Kayda worked for 25 years (1976 - 2001) with the Limestone District School Board as an Office Administrator at Bayridge Secondary School, Loyalist Collegiate Vocational Institute and Sydenham Public School. She loved art and art history and received her Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University in 1988. She also loved to travel. The family will receive friends during a Celebration of Life at the Donald Gordon Centre, 421 Union Street, Kingston, Ontario K7L 3N6, (613) 533-2221 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, 6 March 2016.
