I too thought Ian would live forever! He was one of the first people I heard about from David, who knew Ian as a professor in Queen's Mathematics. David thought the world of Ian! WE were both graduate students and on weekends attended art films at Ellis Hall. It was a wonderful time in our lives and Ian and Margaret were always there when we were. To all of the Hughes clan, your lives have been blessed to have had Ian. He will be well remembered as an extraordinary individual in so many ways. With warmest regards and affection, David and Lisa
