Obituary of Noel Duncan King

King, Noel DuncanPassed away peacefully of natural causes at his home in Kingston on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 59. Son of the late Arnold and Audré King. Beloved brother of Lynda Merz and her husband Dieter and the late Sharon Heffernan. Noel is fondly remembered by his brother in-law Greg Heffernan as well as his nieces and nephews Dave (Allison) Merz, Emily (Luke) Smith, Christy, Melissa (Shane) and Jonathan (Emma) Heffernan. He will also be deeply missed by all of his wonderful friends at Community Connections. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Noel, please consider the UHKF - Providence Care Community Connections. This is a group that was very dear to Noel. For those of you who are not familiar with Community Connections, they exist so "that people with intellectual disabilities have every opportunity to participate fully in our community with dignity and independence." Lynda and Dieter would like to thank Constable Chris Gobeil of the Kingston Police Department, Dr. Rahmani the Coroner, Selena Janssens and the Cataraqui Cemetery, and especially to Adriana Farcas and Ellie Lambert, Noel's Occupational Therapists - the unsung heroes who work in our community with such care and compassion. In keeping with Noel's wishes, there will be no service. He will be laid to rest in the family plot at Cataraqui Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
