My deepest condolences for your loss. I am new to Kingston, and Jim was a longstanding supporter. Last October I met with Jim in person for the first time. He was such an informed and delightful person to talk with, sharing his views on Canadian oil, his passion for all things news, and his interests locally. He embodied the best of Kingston in his engaged, informed communications, his philanthropy, and his connection with the community. I regret not having the opportunity to know him better, but reflect that when we met in October, he was vibrant and very present. My best wishes to his family and friends.
