Obituary of Janice English

Janice English (nee Rouffignac) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family at the age of 63 after battling Parkinson’s for the last 15 years. Left behind are devoted and loving husband Jim English and her son Jonathan English as well as loving sister Karen and brother-in-law Darryl Martin, and nieces and nephews Luke and Sarah Martin and Chris McNevin (Kelsey), James McNevin and Caitlin (Ross) Burns. Survived by her father Ronald Rouffignac and predeased by her beautiful mother Maureen Rouffignac (nee Nancarrow).A special thanks to all the family friends that have helped the last several years with phone calls,checking on us, meals, visits, and prayers. It meant a lot to her and her family. Thank you to medical staff who provided medical assistance in dying. Janice believed in the nurturing of friends and family when one needed. She cherished the laughs and good times spent with close family and friends and neighbourhood dogs during her walks. She always kept her memories of PEI and their out of town friends and fun time spent there with her in her heart. In memory of Janice please pay it forward and remember the joy she brought into your life. Well wishes have been and will be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Donations can be made in her memory to MAIDS (Medical Assistance In Dying Services), Dying with Dignity, Parkinson Kingston or charity of your choice. A small ceremony will be held by invitation only due to Covid restrictions. A celebration of life will be held after the Covid pandemic is over. Meet you on the beach in PEI !
