Obituary of Stella Stefan

93 years after she was set aside, but for an observant nurse, Stella completed this stage of her journey. A child of the prairies during the depression, Stella dreamt that she would live where there was abundant water and trees. Although she worked full time, Stella’s life was centered on her family and was graced by an appreciation for the beauty and the mystery of this sweet old world. Stella was predeceased by her husband Peter (1993) and son Philip (2005). She will be remembered by Gary (Marjorie) of Kingston, Brian (Elizabeth) of Wiarton, granddaughter Erin (Alex) of Toronto and sisters Rose (Robert, deceased) and Lois (Nelson) of Winnipeg, as well as nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place in the fullness of time.
