Obituary of Jacqueline Anne Anderson

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jackie, on January 31, 2022, in her 94th year, loving Mother to 4 children - Anne Lalonde (Ernie), Toronto; John Burtch (Gail), Amherstview; Patti Janes, Kingston and Rob Anderson, Kingston.Beloved Nanny to 9 grandchildren and 6 great-granddaughters.Jackie lived a full life as a wonderful mother, devoted Nanny and tireless worker (well into her 80’s) in the retail sector.She was a wonderful cook - her Cherry Cheesecake and Baked Beans were gobbled up at every family function. Jackie was an avid reader (constantly sharing her books with friends, family and neighbours) and she spent many hours doing her crossword puzzles, watching her shows on TV and staying current / opinionated about all news events.Special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Davies 5 and the ATU Unit at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) for their dedicated care.Jackie will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.A Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association or the Kingston Food Bank. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
