Obituary of Eloise Mae Davis

Eloise Mae Davis (nee: Rescorla) passed away peacefully on the 3rd of January at her residence surrounded by family.She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Albert. Mother to Susan (Ed) and Gordon. Grandma to Bruce and Jenn (Ryan). New Grandma to Jean-Simon, Coralee and Rochelle. Great - Great Grandmother to Iris. Predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Bessie along with her siblings Harold (Zena), Douglas, Athena (Leslie) and Ruth.She will be truly missed by Amanda, her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Eloise was a long-time employee at Queen’s University working as a secretary in many departments. Her passion was for travelling and the outdoors; visiting all the provinces in Canada and most of the continental United States. She always enjoyed camping and collecting shells while walking along the beach. In her spare time, you would find her sewing, quilting and doing crossword puzzles. She was a long-time member of Chalmers United Church (UCW).

In lieu of flowers donations to Heart and Stroke, CNIB, Cancer Society or jack.org/beyondhorizons would be greatly appreciated. Interment and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
