Obituary of Shirley Ann Gibson

GIBSON, Shirley Ann (née Walroth) passed away on Sunday January 2nd, 2022, at Kingston Health Science Centre at the age of 77. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Gibson for 35 wonderful years. Shirley will be remembered by her children Michael Gibson (Yzobela Hyett), Jeff Stevenson (Karen), Scott Stevenson (Stacey Paterson), Jeff Gibson (Stephanie) and Matt Gibson (Jennifer Allan). Beloved grandmother to Jasper, Riley, Will, Shea, Ivy, Conner, Dylan, Adeline, Jack and Bennett. She will be missed by her dear Aunt Joan McIlroy, who was supportive and always there for her.

Shirley enjoyed painting, travelling and spending quality time with all of her grand-children.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nursing staff at KGH Kidd 7 for their compassion and the quality of care given to Shirley.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or the ALS Society of Canada.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
