Obituary of Derrick Allen Kernot

Derrick “Rick” Kernot

October 21, 1947 – July 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Kernot on July 28, 2024.  It gives us solace knowing he is at peace; having left this earth to reunite with his late wife and best friend Ronni Kernot and their angel son Rich. 

Rick was an amazing family man with a huge heart who loved his family and friends unconditionally.  He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kerri (Tom), son Mark, grandchildren Kristi, Mike, Andrew, Matti, Sarah, Dan, Todd, Courtney, Savanna-Meche, Taylor, Mara, Harley, Aalyiah, 8 great grandchildren and his niece Penny Dawn. He is predeceased by his grandson Daniel.  Rick’s in-law family loved Rick as one of their own and will miss him dearly.

As per Rick’s wishes there will be no service but his request was to say “I’ll see ya on the other side”.
