Obituary of Noreen Brisebois

Noreen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer at Providence Care Hospital on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 84.  Loving mother of Diane (Chris) Conner, Lee-Anne (Rick) Sweetman, Kelly (Bill) Duncan and Michelle (Carl) Luffman.  Proud grandmother of Josh (Kristin), Tyler (Cassie), Adam (Cora), Cameron (Janae), Curtis (Kim), Nicolas (Gabrielle), Brady (Annabelle) and Owen and great-grandmother of Aidan, Lillian, Brady, Reed, Cohen, Thomas and Eliot.  Survived by her sisters, Patricia Brady (Jimmy), Colleen (Dennis) Thompson, Frances (Tim) Stewart and Kristine Brady and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents, Boyd and Leonora Brady; brothers, Sean Brady, Ray Brady; sister, Margaret Brady and niece Maureen.  Noreen truly enjoyed her time spent with friends and staff at Kingsbridge Retirement.  She was long time member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and their Catholic Women’s League (CWL).  The family is grateful for the exceptional care provided by Providence Care Hospital – Heritage 2 staff.  Visitation will be held in the gathering space at St. Paul the Apostle Parish (1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd.) on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 9am to 9:45am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Paul the Apostle Parish at 10:00am.  Interment of Noreen’s cremated remains will be held at St. Columban’s Cemetery, Cornwall at a later date.
