Obituary of Gord Lavoie

Gord died peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend to Marilyn Lavoie (nee McCallum) of over 23 years. Survived by his brothers Bob (the late Verna) and Art (Judy), and his sister-in-laws Diana (Bob) and Lynn (Dan). Pre-deceased by his brother Ray (Joyce), brother-in-law Bob (Ruth) and sister-in-law Judy.

 

Gord enjoyed playing many sports, especially hockey and baseball. He cherished the friendships that came with the games.  He was a “walking road map” and truly adored our road adventures around Ontario and across Canada. Gord always loved working in his workshop creating items for our home.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Gord to the Kingston Humane Society.

 

 A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
