Granny,
Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am at the moment.
You were the best crazy granny I could ever ask for. You were always so loving and helpful with us. My mom called you mom, it just goes to say.
I loved doing modge-podge, tie-dye, arts and crafts at your house. Even though I am not the artsy kind of guy, you made me fall in love with it as you were always so passionate about it. You were the kind of granny that kept craft and sewing stuff in thos wide cookie tins.
Will miss our time together, would of loved for you to meet my son Jackson in person. At least Abby was able to. Things were crazy in the past couple years.
Will miss all the memories of putting flowers in a toilet bowl and you thinking it was normal. Will miss playing dressup in your basement, never became a beekeeper after all. Throwing rocks in the gutter between your house and your driveway and getting in trouble for doing so.
Talking about getting in trouble, getting yelled at by you with your classic "Shut up you stupid kids", gotta frame that sentence somewhere in my home. I'll probably start using it soon anyways. Had to rename the game A**hole to Werther's original because you didn't like us saying the word (there was a tin of the candy beside us when we decided to call it that).
Will always remember making hot buns with you, oh man now I really need to make hot buns. And grandpa's baked macaroni.
Playing hockey on your backyard pond, walking in the forest with you, setting off fireworks on new years in your backyard even though you were in bed at 8pm. Playing rummy 500 with you.
Aunty Heather found a note in one of your books not too long ago, I think you used it as a bookmark and I just thought it was so cool that you kept it after all these years. I still have the same handwriting though.
