Obituary of Lori Marie Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lori Marie Williams (Moore) in the early hours of August 25th. 

After a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Lori peacefully passed at Kingston General Hospital surrounded by her loving husband Doug, and her 4 children Sara, Michael, Emily, Matthew and her son-in-law Patrick. 

Lori is survived by her sister Terri (Duncan). and her brother Jim. We find comfort that she is now at peace and reunited with her mother Jane and her father Erwin. 

Lori will also be missed by her step-mother Elsie, loving mother-in-law Grace, sisters-in-law Kathy (Rich) and Glenna (Bob), and her nephews Darren, Jeremy, Stephen, Neil, Andy, Dan, and her niece Holly. 

Lori spent her recent years on many beautiful family trips, as well as travels with Doug to see the world together in their retirement. She loved and was so proud of each of her children. 

The family will be holding a private funeral service. 

An open invitation for a Celebration of Life for all who have known and loved Lori and her family will be announced shortly. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada, or the Breast Cancer Canada Society. 

The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the doctors, nurses and medical staff on Connell 9, as well as the medical oncology team for their gentle kindness and compassion. We would especially like to thank nurse Johan, Oncology Nurse Practitioner Jessica and the entire palliative care team for their above and beyond care for Lori.
