Obituary of Rita Ann Coville

Rita Ann Coville passed away on August 20th, 2023. She was 82 years old.

Rita was born in South Mountain but lived most of her life in Kingston, Ontario.

She is survived by her three sons, Steve, Michael, and Jamie, granddaughter Chrystal, great-grandson Patrick, her brother Emmett & Marion Doyle and their kids, Brian, Stephanie and Natalie; sister-in-law Dolores Doyle and her daughter Suzanne, brother-in-law Bernie and Barb Coville and their kids Brent and Betty Ann; her sister-in-law Diane Coville and her daughter Bethany; and her cousin-in-laws, Dale Gilmour, Donna Travis and Linda Davis. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Coville, her parents John and Irene Doyle, her older brother John Doyle, niece Marie Doyle and aunt-in-law Helen Sweeney.

Rita was a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved watching hockey and football. She liked to keep track of hockey scores and update people on the latest Leafs games. She also loved watching game shows and cooking shows. We want to thank the caregivers at St. Elizabeth Health Care, that came into our home and took excellent care of Rita. They will never be forgotten. Their time, friendship and companionship were very dear to Rita as she looked forward to seeing them every day. We thank them for their service and their hearts of gold.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 26th at 3:00pm at Cataraqui Cemetery. Please meet at the main office (927 Purdy's Mill Road, Kingston) for 2:45pm.
