Obituary of Jason Douglas George Serson

Jason (Jay) Douglas George Serson, loving son, father, brother and uncle, passed away on Thursday July 20, 2023 at the age of 44. He is survived by his parents Cathy and Steve McDermott and Dale Serson, his daughter Siara, sister Alexandra McDermott, and nephew Hunter.

Jay was an avid explorer of the outdoors. His favorite activity was swimming and being around the water.

A private graveside service will be held for Jay at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made in Jay’s honor to the Youth Diversion Program Kingston or the Bethel House Kingston.
