Obituary of Bob Bambrick

 

 

 

It is with deepest sadness and broken hearts, we announce that Bob passed away peacefully on November, 19 2022 at the age of 72 with his adoring family by his side.

 

Bob was predeceased by his cherished wife of 45 years Susan. His mother Monica, father Frank, and brother Gary.  Bob leaves behind his beloved sister Sandy (Joe), and Lin.  Proud father to Janice, Robin (Randy) Jesse, Owen (Chantel), Grandchildren Courtney (Mladen), Brittany (Keenan), Alyssa (Randy), Summer, Samantha, Quentin, Abigail, and Scarlett, Great-Grandsons Oliver and Arlo, Niece Stacy (Dave), Nephews Jeff and Mike (Trent), as well as his many loyal friends with whom he enjoyed everyday life and whom he considered to be his extended family. 

 

Bob had a love for "toys" and in his free time you could find him enjoying an exciting ride on his boat, snowmobile or simply just relaxing by the fire at his hunting camp with a good western. He had a need for speed, be it on his motorcycle or his many cars and trucks. He was here for a good time and made the best of every situation.

 

Bob was a hardworking generous man, and a dedicated mentor to so many.  He had a humorous, charismatic personality with a steadfast way that you couldn't help but love.  He was the definition of strong and he was brave right to the end.  We will miss him dearly, but grateful he was ours.

 

A graveside service will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 12:00pm.  Please meet at the cemetery office for 11:45am to go in procession to the gravesite.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Bob's memory may be made to your local food bank.
