Our deepest sympanthy to all your family on the death of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. The Roughton, Davies connection has been going on for many years.
Most recently we would meet at concerts at the Isabel, where their seats were just in front of ours. We would catch up
on family news.
May you have many happy memories,
Elaine Davies.

Mrs. Roughton was such a great influence on me and a great friend to my family. I have so many fond memories from Fairway Hills, Sanibel Island, Buck Lake visits and the many figure skating trips. Mrs. Roughton was always so involved and helpful in everything she did. I have no idea how she found the time to make by hand all those skating dresses, judge skating, be such a wonderful cook and have such a lovely home and garden. In her garden was the first time I ever saw ferns, hostas, Jack-in-the-pulpit and many other plants. Whether it was hanging out with Stephanie, the Birds going to the Roughton’s for their famous roast beef dinners, collecting shells on the beach, or times at “the rink”, Mrs. Roughton always made things fun and had a word or two of wisdom to impart. She always had a big smile to send one’s way and she always knew how to make someone feel special. My thoughts and condolences are with all the Roughton family.

When Allison and I moved into Milton, we were so warmly welcomed by Stephen and Rosalie. We even considered moving next store! We enjoyed a visit to Buck Lake and waved whenever we canoed by. Even after we moved from Milton, we kept and dried flowers that came from Rosalie’s garden. Stephen and Rosalie were and are a special couple and I remember them with deep fondness. My condolences to you,
Suzy Lister
