Obituary of Susan Bambrick

Bambrick, Susan Michelle (nee Torney)

Oct. 21, 1949 – Mar. 31, 2022

It is with broken hearts we announce that Susan Bambrick passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 with grace and dignity, embraced in love at home as she wished.  She was surrounded by her family, her loving husband, Bob, and her children, Robin (Randy), Jesse (Candice) and Janice.  Mum was a proud MeMaw to her adoring grandchildren, Summer, Samantha, Quentin, Abigail, Scarlett, Alyssa, Courtney, and Brittany, a devoted Auntie to nephews, Jeff and Mike (Trent) all of whom will miss her whimsical sense of humour and creative story telling. 

Mum is reunited with her parents, Chris and Graham Torney, sister Lynn McRae, and the many hooves and paws who were without question waiting to welcome her. 

Mum retired from her teaching career, but never lost her love for it.  She was our rock and always had our backs through good and bad times.  Knowing us as she did, she ensured all of our vehicles were equipped with guardian angels and she has undoubtedly joined their team.

A special and heartfelt thanks to Mum’s medical team, Richard, Eric and Valerie.  Also her close friends Barb, Joyce, and Brenda who surrounded her with the warmest love.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held.  In lieu of flowers and in tribute to her love of all animals, donations in her memory may be made to J&J Farms, Craigen Road, Newburgh.
