Obituary of Dorothy Mary Turner-Joynt

Turner-Joynt, Dorothy Mary (nee Prosser) - Aug. 21, 1913 – Sept. 7, 2017 -Dorothy was born in Cardinal, Ontario and passed away peacefully at Rosewood Retirement Home, Kingston at the age of 104. She is survived by her son Donald Glen Turner (Henriette) and her grandson Robin Turner. A remarkable wife, mother, grandmother; she had a great sense of humor and never ending inquisitiveness. Also survived by her step-grandchildren, Amelia Salmon (Jason), Jackie Howe, David Berry (Alicia), Katherine Berry and 9 great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Kenedie, Kourtney and Keegan Salmon, Hannah Howe, Colin and Zachary Brown, Sophia and Madeline Berry. Thank you to the wonderful care given by the staff at Rosewood and St. Elizabeth P.S.W., May. Also, thank you to the volunteers and special friends that came to visit Dorothy.In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario).
