Obituary of Mary Jane Lloyd

Mary Jane Lloyd (nee Giff) passed peacefully and surrounded by love after a bravely fought battle with cancer at Kingston General Hospital on Friday, March 27th, 2020. Mary Jane was predeceased by her father Robert, father-in-law Bert sister Jill, brother in law Jerry and grandson Noah. Left to cherish her memory is Mary Jane’s beloved husband of 45 years, Curtis. Her Mother, Jean Giff and Mother-in-law Doris Lloyd. Cherished children Steven (Tanya), Matthew (Jane) and Kristin. Mary Jane was the proud Grammie of Charlotte and Spencer and dear sister to Cathie (Ketu), John (Sue) and Brian (Peggy). Mary Jane will be remembered fondly by extended family, friends and neighbours. Special thank you to the staff on Kidd 9 at the KGH for their loving and compassionate care and all other care providers throughout her journey. The family would like to extend gratitude to Mary Jane’s sister Cathie for constant presence and support throughout Mary Jane’s courageous battle. In light of current health regulations, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
