Please accept my sincerest condolences on Jolly's passing. Recommended by his sister, Paulette (then my secretary)t at Queen's, Jolly did a splendid job on producing every year a volume of the learned journal I edited. Joan, we were really shocked and saddened to learn of Jolly's passing Wednesday morning. Jolly was the best brother, brother-in-law and uncle one could ever hope for. He was a wise older brother, he warmly welcomed us outsiders into the family as though we had always been there, he made our children each feel they were held in a very special place in his heart – and they were. He will be missed terribly. Our prayers are with you. God bless. June, Bob and family
