Obituary of Dorothy Dunphy

Dunphy, Dorothy Joan (nee Snyder) - passed away with strength, grace and a beautiful smile, on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at the age of 75. Married to Richard Murray. Predeceased by her husband Robert Dunphy, her parents, Wilmot and Dorothy Snyder, her sister, Joyce York (Rod) and companion Richard Coombes. Loving mother to Susan Cook and mother-in-love to son-in-law, Eric. Cherished Nana to Spencer, Jessie, Nicole and Conner. Survived by sister Judy and brothers Murray (Linda) and Murle. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to all the people who made this difficult journey a little easier, with their encouraging words, kind spirits and helping hands. A graveside service will take place, at CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES, 927 Purdy’s Mill Road, on Friday, February 9 at 1pm. Please meet at the cemetery office at 12:45pm to go in procession to the gravesite. Family and friends are welcome. Donations can be made to Roblin Wesleyan Church in Joan’s memory.
